The new WRR year
This was the first session of the new WRR year, subs night so an opportunity to run and stay behind for a social chat with food laid on.
The run with group 3 was a tough one with 4 times 5 minutes sessions with the first 3 minutes paced and then as fast as possible for the remaining 2 minutes. I had mixed session with sets 1 and 3 going well near to the front of the group but for sets 2 and 4 near the rear. The run up Back Lane to get out of Brackmills was hard on the legs, no talking going up the hill.
All in all a good session but legs felt tired from start to end. Wondering if I am doing enough running in preparation for the London Marathon - I will have to discuss with Steve when I see him shortly.
