End of another working week!

When I got into work this morning the laptop was waiting for me - not fixed as the support company had ordered the wrong replacment hard disk - looks like I will lose it again for another few days once the new part arrives.
As to training today, another day when I didn't have to shoot out of bed.  My training plan only included swimming at Cripps tonight, but when I got to lunchtime I needed to get out of the office so I went to the gym for a shorter and easier workout than normal, only 45 minutes; the afternoon went better for it.

The swim this evening was a new session from Robyn, target was 2,300m in an hour - we all agreed it was too much but we would go for it.  Even the warm up had increased from 200m to 300m then into the main sets with an additional 100m set.  However lane 3 didn't seem to work as well tonight, the gap between us all was slightly larger than the last few weeks so we had longer to wait for us all to catch up. On the 400m set I slipped a place as I was feeling tired, especially my arms, I was able to keep up much more easily in the drill sets. We were given the target for 2,300m but we achieved 1,900m, we can do more in future weeks, but it will be a challenge.  Swimming is still my main challenge!
