Easy spin and run

Another easy day?  Mind you getting out of bed is probably the hardest part.  In the garage for 60 minutes on the turbo, an easy spin, take something interesting to listen to on the iPod as I still do not have a large screen in the garage to watch to relieve the boredom.
I set the target for the easy spin to be at a cadence of 100rpm and managed it with an average of 101rpm.  If I believed all the HR data it was a very hard session with HR in zone 5 at times, whereas the reality was that the effort was in zone 2, the average was 124 but would have been lower without the spurious data.  I am not sure what causes the HR data to do what it does, I cannot find any information about it on the web, but from conversations I am not the only one who at times has similar Garmin watch problems.
Within 5 minutes of finishing the turbo session I was out for a run to test the legs, including some faster paced race speed running, target was for 20 minutes but took slightly longer with 23'33" covering 2.83miles.  The HR average was high at 146 with majority of the run in HR zone 3, possible this is right as I pushed it hard for about 8 minutes mid run.  Still feel I should be running more as the marathon gets nearer!
And then training was finished for today, all out of the way by 8am - then refreshed I was onto work and my monthly Board meeting.
