A hard hills session

Tonight was the first hard training session at WRR since before Christmas due to the weather getting in the way. So tonight's group 3 session was hills, the session we all love to moan about even though we know it does us some good.
After our warm up run to the bottom of Back Lane from Brackmills to Hardingstone we were put through our paces. I must admit I did find it hard running towards the back/middle of the group. It was a hard session 56 minutes in total covering 5.76 miles, somewhat shorter distance than when we do the speed sessions on the flat. I do not know what effect this had on my heart rate as I forgot my chest strap so no data but I am sure it was high from how I felt.
