Gym, Spin and Pilate's with WRR AGM in between

Monday's session was an hour in the gym in the morning as I had to go to WRR AGM on Monday evening. The gym session is now following a steady routine working on the core and upper body with some extra lunges and stretches for a more rounded session.

The evening was of the Wootton working men's club for the AGM. I haven't been to the WMC for a while. Enjoyed a few beers for the evening and the meeting itself. It was good to see the reviews of the year - next year we will have to mention the fell runs and mountain marathons that some of us like doing. Now that Bob has retired as Race Director I have stepped forward and am now the race director with the challenge of getting this year's Blisworth 5 series underway, although it is easier thanks to the good work of the committee working with Bob and the bible!

This morning's session was quite boring, an hour of easy spinning keeping to HR zone 1. Even listening to Kylie giving it her all wasn't enough to make this session interesting. I managed to keep HR down and cadence generally between 90-95rpm.
Then a busy day with some inconvenience of travel getting home from London - cancelled trains and extra stops on London Midland. Still managed to get home in time to get to get to the Pilate's class. A smaller group than the class I normally go to on a Monday but still the same routines - the exercises seem to be getting easier!
